David is director of research and editor-in-chief of DataIQ, the knowledge hub for practitioners in data and analytics, having been editor since its launch in 2015. He is responsible for content, including the DataIQ Impact research series, programming and presenting at DataIQ events and driving the DataIQ 100. David has a 25-year track record in journalism covering data and direct marketing in the UK. He has been editor of the IDM Journal of Direct, Data and Digital Marketing Practice and course editor for the IDM Award in Data Management. Having co-founded The Data Governance Forum, he was elected to the DMA (UK) Roll of Honour in 2004 and became an Honorary Life Fellow of the IDM in 2016.
